Don’t want to use the scream submission form? Email your audio file as an attachment to screamingpuppetsanonymous@gmail.com.
Use the recording app of your choosing to record your scream. Whatever works for you is great, as long as it’s easy for me to download the audio. I prefer MP3 and Wav formats but will do my best to work with other formats.
If you are unsure of where to start, here are some options.
- iPhone users: Record yourself screaming using the Voice Memos app.
- Android or iPhone users: Record yourself screaming using the Otter.ai app.
Email the recording to screamingpuppetsanonymous@gmail.com.
Not sure how to email an audio file? Here are instructions for sharing a recording from the Voice Memos app or from Otter.ai.
- Voice Memos (iPhone): Tap the three dots next to a saved recording, hit the share icon, and enter the recipient. See full instructions.
- Otter.ai (Android or iPhone): From the recording, click the three dots in the top right corner. Depending on your interface, you may need to click “Export” and then select “audio,” or you may be able to click “export audio” directly. The file will download to your device. Send it as an email attachment. See full instructions.
By sending your recording of your voice via email, you consent me using the recording to make videos of sock puppets. If you wish to retract your scream, please contact me at screamingpuppetsanonymous@gmail.com and identify which video has your recording and I will remove that audio file.
